World Cancer Day is a truly global event taking place every year on 4 February. This is the day when people around the world stand united in the fight against cancer.
The purpose of this day is to spread awareness and support those who are fighting against the disease, compelling governments and individuals around the world to take action.
The theme of World Cancer Day 2016-2018 is- ‘We Can. I Can.’ which of course means together can can help each other by taking part in the global fight against this disease.
