It’s a 60th anniversary where thousands of writers – Sophie Cunningham, Chris Flynn, Nardi Simpson, Ashley Hay, readers, and thought-leaders – Jasmin McGaughey and Ellen Van Neerven will ignite imaginations, showcase literature, ask questions, and celebrate stories from Frontline Audience.

AUSTRALIAN COCKTAIL MONTH
Brisbane’s favorite bars whip up exclusive cocktails during the liquor festival that lasts the whole month of May. One hundred forty-five bars are taking part, including Canberra, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney Wollongong, and Brisbane (of course). In Queensland, 24 spots will help Australia’s Cocktail Month celebrate its second year. Besides, there will be alcohol-free cocktails on the menu.
Wondering where to start? Visit local favorites like Cobbler, Byblos, The Gresham, Death and Taxes, Dr. Gimlette, Iris, Savile Row, and Sasso Italiano. Or you can check out the procedure here. Along with the other participating venues, they’ll spend the month whipping up creatively-charged festival cocktails and mocktails using drops from local brands and international labels.
