Pub Choir is a musical group based in Brisbane, Australia, led by Astrid Jorgensen and including guitarist Waveney Yasso. Jorgensen prepares a popular song and teaches it to you in three-part harmony at every Pub Choir event, culminating in a performance that is shot and posted on social media.

Battle of the Bands – Heat 9 (2nd of Feb)

It’s a battle band that happens every month or year accordingly. The Battle of the Bands at The Brightside is returning, and it’s bigger than ever!

There will be 20 heats from November 2021 to May 2022, following the receipt of a vast list of applications. Each heat will send one band to the semi-finals, where they will compete before the huge grand final later in 2022!

Snowcats, TOAK, Unentitled, Tom Jackson, and 3 Hour Flight will compete in Heat 9 on February 2nd.

Come down and choose your new favorite band among the plethora of talent on display!

Ant Middleton (3rd February)

Ant Middleton, the much-loved guru of survival and endurance, will visit Australia in January/February 2022 on his renowned speaking tour. Ant Middleton, star of Channel 7’s hit series SAS Australia, will visit Brisbane in 2022 on his renowned speaking tour!

Ant’s life in the army, his training tactics, and the experiences that have helped him deal with whatever challenge life has thrown at him will be revealed to fans. He’ll talk about the first season of SAS Australia, as well as his quest to conquer Mt. Everest and the several other difficulties he’s faced.

Make Emo Great Again – An Emo & Pop Punk Party – BNE (4-5 February)

It’s a pop-punk party with a lot of music with a mega DJ which will spin your favorite music. WE’RE COMING BACK IN 2022! The Brightside will host Brisbane’s favorite Emo club night to kick off 2022 with a bang.
