You will need a diploma in health and safety professional, and there are two of them that are accepted on the national level. The Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety – Diploma BSB51319 and Advanced diploma of work health and safety BSB60615.

After the completion of the diploma, you will also be required to complete three years as an OHS practitioner to become completely qualified. You also have to complete the ongoing CPD and renew your certificate every year.
