What’s On Brisbane – May 2021

2020 may have a lot of event cancellations but things are different in 2021. We have a lot of cultural, community and sports events happening in Brisbane city. In May 2021, we have a series of events. Whether you are a young one or an adult, there is something for everyone this month of May.

DINE Bne City (13-30 May)

Great news for food lovers. Brisbane’s biggest food event is here DINE Bne City from 13-30 May. There will be more than 80 great deals on offer from dozens of restaurants and bars throughout CBD. The event will bring back the much-loved sea to the city, the alfresco seafood event by the river.

Hospitality sector has suffered a lot during Covid so this is an attempt to back the sector. Show full support and join the event.

GREEN HEART Fair (30 May)

Another popular event is back this month Sunday 30 May. This event will also have Botanica- Contemporary Art outside which takes over the City Botanic Gardens.

Loc: 7th Brigade Park, Chermside. This is a free family & dog-friendly event that will feature more than 120 sustainable living experts.  You’ll learn more about innovative lifestyle products and services, gardening recycling and practical tips in workshops.

You can also learn about Brisbane’s urban forest, waterways and invasive species. There are also food trucks and live music.

PLANNED BURNS (Bush Fires)

Every season the council organise planned burns or bushfires to avoid the risk of bushfires. Residents in nearby areas to this planned burns will be notified by mail, emails etc.
