YouTube is now 10 years old and it’s celebrating in style. With over 75 references and 18 filmmaking styles, YouTube has tried to capture some of the richness and variety of YouTube from the last decade.
Ten years ago in May, YouTube was launched in beta. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion. Since then there is no looking back and today millions of videos are uploaded on this video sharing site.
YouTube is celebrating 10 years anniversary with this montage video by giving credit to all the innovative artists who have contributed to YouTube in last 10 years and played a major role in the popularity of YouTube.
